The lead storyteller
HI, I’M NEHAA. AN EXTROVERTED-INTROVERT. A FASHION ENTHUSIAST. A PAINTER WHEN IN THE MOOD. A WORLD WANDERER. AND THE NAYRA STORIES LEAD STORYTELLER.
To give you a bit of background on my journey: it all started in elementary school and continued through high school, where I began developing a taste for the fine arts. My creative path then led me to interior design, which I studied in Toronto for a few years. After graduating, photography entered my life at just the right time, and I quickly developed a deep love for capturing fleeting moments—both my own and those of others.
The experiences I gained from my previous endeavors played a significant role in shaping both myself and The Nayra Stories into what it is today. I learned to appreciate the beauty in different perspectives and angles, using them to tell the stories of others. Capturing memories on my clients' most special days has become a passion that’s now ingrained in my heart and soul.
I view the stories we capture as intricate moments, each one woven into a unique piece of art. This perspective constantly inspires the direction I wish to take on this journey. Every wedding, editorial, and portrait session motivates me to keep telling authentic, unique stories so that you can cherish and relive these moments for years to come.

I come from a technology and software background, but I found myself in this industry through my wife, Nehaa. Watching her and her craft, sparked interest in myself to step foot into the creative world. At first, I started off by handling all the back-end components of The Nayra Stories–but then gained more and more interest in the craft behind the lens. I realized quickly that there are many moving parts beneath the creative aspect of storytelling that many don’t realize. Each event I started to gain more interest being behind the lens, and seeing different perspectives that I’ve never seen before.
As a team, we work together to unfold your most cherished memories from your biggest days to moments you can look through over and over again.
